Northeast Scholarships
In 2020 as part of our mission to improve our local economy, the Alliance Board members formed a 501(c)(3) to invest in our future through scholarships for graduating students from the local area. Wanting to provide scholarships to student with a financial need but not wanting to require parents to submit income tax info we decided not to grade heavily on GPA with a requirement of 2.5. Knowing our Northeast community, we also decided to grade heavier for students participating in the community or students having to work to help the family financially.

Since the beginning we have provided a Leadership Academy for all students successfully meeting the requirements whether the receive a scholarship or not. This Academy prepares and equips students for their college and corporate life.
Course of our academy include essay writing, focusing skills, memorizing techniques, and study habits. Corporate inclined courses like financial literacy, professional resume writing and social media, interview tips and proper dress attire, especially a course on how to tie a tie.

Our Board Members and Sponsors know the challenges our community faces, these are our attempts at making a difference.
